L’ELEGANCE
TILE REMOVAL AND WATERPROOFING
L’Elegance is an upscale waterfront condo complex on Lido Beach.
The board is deciding what they would like to have done for the balconies over the next 2-3 years and would like to perform sound checks on each balcony. Until then they’d like to use two balconies as tests to see the extent of concrete repair and start budgeting to eventually do the same work on every unit.
The scope of work is relatively minor (remove tile, perform soundcheck with EOC, concrete repair, apply new waterproofing, install board selected tile), but to us it’s a great opportunity with a new engineering firm and condo board to make a great impression and build a relationship.
PARK SHORE
COLUMN REPAIR
Park Shore Landings is a high end condominium complex just off Naples Beach. The community has a series of small restoration jobs to perform throughout, but since the hurricane were not able to schedule repairs with a previous contractor for 3 months.
The job consisted simply of removing concrete from the support column to be inspected by the engineer and then installing steel reinforced concrete and stucco patching.
Crown Waterproofing and Restoration was able to perform all repairs and schedule all 3 inspections with the EOR in 30 days after receiving contract.
AMENITY DECKS AND BALCONIES
Projects typically include removal of tile/overburden, removal, of existing waterproofing membrane, concrete inspections for spalling/hollow spaces, apply new waterproofing, and installation of tile/paver selection. Also may include: stucco, painting, concrete restoration, PT repair and other cosmetic details.
PROJECT DOWN THE ROAD
La Mer is a beach front condominium community in Naples, FL, that had issues with their amenity deck, and were also converting their planters to walkable spaces. Our scopes included:
Remove and prep surface area for waterproofing on amenity deck, install waterproofing on existing planters, remove pavers and install waterproofing on stairwell, install waterproofing on converted planters, replace expansion joints on amenity deck, correct drainage issues where ponding occurred, replace stucco, and repair spalling/weak concrete.
